Drawing on an original database of in-depth interviews with female researchers who experienced intra-European mobility (and, holding non-permanent positions, likely to experience it again), we explore their life narratives and self-representations, their love relationships, and their life arrangements, in a context characterized by the increase of intra-European academic mobility, and, in the last years, job uncertainty.
